NORTH BRANCH:

USGBC-NJ North Branch Committee

The North Branch of the USGBC-NJ is chaired by Pradeep Kapoor and Patrick LaCorte of DMR Architects.  The USGBC-NJ members in Northern New Jersey and throughout the State are interested in advocating both living and working green.

As a group, we meet once a month, nine times a year to discuss specific topics, presented by an expert in the field, over dinner.  In addition, we are establishing sub-committees and encourage all members to join at least one, as we are looking for support in membership, programs, communications and education.  If you would like to get involved and join the committee, or if you are simply inquiring about this committee, please contact the branch chair Pradeep Kapoor at pradeepk@dmrarchitects.com and he will reply.

CENTRAL BRANCH:

The Central Jersey Branch is chaired by Rey Montalvo of Consolidated Energy Design, Inc. and vice chaired by Cherry Mae Pangaldi of CM STRUCTURE LLC.

The Central Jersey Branch Committee meets monthly and we welcome new members. Our committee structure is mirrored after that of the NJ Chapter in that every committee (with the possible exception of some ad hoc committees) at the NJ Chapter level can find a counterpart at the Central Jersey Branch. The Central Jersey Branch committees consist of members who are interested in advocating for the ABCs of LEED. Each Central Jersey Branch committee has a leader and, if sufficient volunteers, an assistant. We have a structure in place to ensure that all of these committees have input into the Branch, with chair Rey Montalvo acting as the Central Branch liaison to the NJ Chapter. We also aim to host six programs/events a year.

SOUTH BRANCH:

The South Branch of the USGBC-NJ is chaired by Erin Thomas of SolaDesign Systems, LLC and Carmen Rainieri of McDonough, Boylard, and Peck, Inc.

The goal of the South Jersey Branch is to get the southern half of our state involved in the green building process. We hope to raise awareness about our branch and ultimately the NJ Chapter through meetings, talk and tours and networking events. We are always seeking out new members as well as committee members. We encourage involvment in both South Branch and Chapter events.
