Each year USGBC NJ recognizes and presents Gala Awards to companies and individuals who have demonstrated outstanding achievement in green building and sustainability.
The winners of the distinguished awards will be celebrated at USGBC NJ’s Annual Awards Gala on Wednesday, May 16, 2018 at the at the Palace at Somerset Park, Somerset, NJ.
Deadline for Gala Nomination submissions are February 23, 2018.
Award Winners to be announced mid-March.
The award categories are:
- LEED Project of the Year
(May be drawn across multiple categories.)
- Innovation and Sustainability Best Practices
(Includes projects, corporate initiatives & programs, public/private sector and municipal programs. Includes initiatives, products, or services and may cross multiple categories.)
- Students: Sustainability Projects K-12 and Higher Education (Separate Application Process)
Please note that LEED school projects can apply under the regular application. The separate application is just for Students/ Student Groups.

USGBC NJ’s annual gala is considered the networking event of the year by green building and sustainability professionals in the Tri-State area.
