Currently Ms. Taylor is at the Feliciano Business School of Montclair State University as a Professor of Management teaching Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and Marketing. She is developing the University’s Resiliency Institute.
She was at Wyndham Worldwide for 15 years. As the prior Senior Vice President of CSR, she led their program policies, reporting and strategies which included sustainability, philanthropy, wellness, diversity, human rights, ethics and responsible sourcing. The program was implemented across 3 hospitality divisions, 40 brands, 39,000 employees and 120,000 hotels, timeshare and rentals in 100 countries. She was President of Wyndham’s Charitable Foundation and global giving aligned with disaster relief. She worked with a Council to grow charitable contributions 200% which equaled over $6 million in cash and in-kind donations. They gave away over 9 million charity points per year through reward donations. The program launched an online Giving Center and increased employee donations by 75%. Over 6,000 associates participated in volunteer activities with their local communities. The program assisted over 500 associates with $250,000 disaster relief funds. Under her leadership and in partnership with the global CSR Council in 2014 through 2018, Wyndham Worldwide was recognized by the Dow Jones Sustainability Index as a leader in the Hospitality sector for its environmental, social and governance programs. CR Magazine recognized Wyndham Worldwide as one of the 100 Best Corporate Citizens. In 2012- 2016, Newsweek named Wyndham Worldwide one of the Greenest Companies in America. In 2017, Wyndham Worldwide met its goal to reduce its carbon emissions by 43%, 8 years ahead of schedule and water was reduced 21% globally. The program saved over $91 million dollars in energy and water expenses and 27% of its $2.5 billion supply chain met their sustainability criteria. In 2016, Wyndham planted over 1 million trees in partnership with the Arbor Day Organization.
External Partnerships: She chaired the Sustainability Group of the World Travel & Tourism Council where she co-led the development of Environmental, Social Governance Reporting for the industry and chaired the Board of Directors of the USGBC of New Jersey. She was also a member of the International Tourism Partnership organizations where she participated in setting industry standards like the Hotel Carbon and Water Metric Initiative, Human Rights Policies and Youth Employment used by over 20,000 hotels today. Wyndham was a recognized corporate leader working with the Clinton Global Initiative and the Department of Energy’s Better Building Challenge in setting impactful programs. She is currently on the board of New Jersey’s Performing Art Center and the Executive Women of New Jersey.
Ms. Taylor graduated from Stanford University receiving a BA in Psychology and Economics and received an MBA from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.
