With over ten years of experience in a variety of roles, Monika is energetic and adaptable. Her career began in 2004 at Turner’s Philadelphia business unit as a field engineer for the construction of two iconic buildings, the Cira Center and 10 Rittenhouse. As a cost engineer, she spent two years as the financial auditor for several projects in the Philadelphia area. Future assignments would take her to Baltimore and Washington, DC, where she successfully led the fitouts of several spaces for renowned clients as the project manager.

As a project engineer, she spent a year at the Fan Pier project in Boston, a 500,000 square-foot lab and office space fitout with LEED Gold certification. She would then lead the engineering team at The Gardens project in Pittsburgh, a $100,000 million 197-room Hilton Garden Inn with a 129,000 square-foot office building, garage and retail space, expected to obtain LEED certification.

Monika joined the Turner NJ business unit in 2015 where she has been the preconstruction lead for numerous Verizon projects, and has been part of the estimating effort for most noteworthy endeavors that come through the preconstruction department such as LG and Memorial Sloan Kettering.

Throughout the years, Monika has had the ability to acclimate quickly to different business units, their culture and dynamic, rapidly making a positive impact not only on construction business endeavors but also the community that surrounds her.

Currently, Monika is deeply involved with Turner’s NJ West, a women’s empowerment organization, and volunteers with several organizations including the ACE mentoring project and Moms helping Moms, among others. She holds a leadership role in the sustainability committee at Turner and is passionate and knowledgeable about Net Zero buildings, sustainable construction and waste reduction.
